A Saga of Colours

Hello lovelies, sorry for the lack of posts but I am finally back!

Life is too short to wear boring clothes. “

In today’s blog,I have decided to experiment with the Indo-Western Style which is currently one of my favourite trends because one can look effortlessly stylish but still managing to get that traditional touch. What is wonderful about living in the 21st century is that ethnic does not equal to be boring. There are various new interesting outfits you can try your way around with that is desi with a twist.

I am wearing a tribal printed shirt style top ,which has blotches of different colours all over it from Crosstitch, these kind of tops for me are summer staples as you can team it up with a pair of jeans or leggings, maxi skirts and even with dhoti/patiala pants as I have done. It has been great collaborating with Crosstich, their new summer collection of shirts  is splendid, and you are left with several choices to make up your mind about.    Temperatures are  rising in Kolkata and I can’t really be at the beach that too in swim-wear 24 hours a day, thus the right fabrics can make all the difference in the world, this shirt is cotton , the most favourable fabric to wear in this sweltering humidity and heat.

Dhoti style pants hit then runaway scene sometime back, and now if we pay serious attention around ourselves girls are setting a statement with adopting these pants as an attire. They are no more a male domain but instead an upcoming fashion trend that have come of age ever since they have arrived. It is an Indian garment which let you unleash your creative self. You can go haywire with colours and prints. What’s most unique about these dhoti pants is they have several pleats that creates an interesting width at the top and for simplicity they are essentially loose at the upper leg area and start tapering down to the ankle making it attention grabbing. Dhoti pants surely has an unique element of surprise that won’t fail to glam up your wardrobe.

You have to wear bohemian accessories without worrying about what’s more and what’s not,or else the Fusion look will be left incomplete. I am wearing a blue beads neckpiece and a thread bracelet.

I have decided to turn up a notch in my eye makeup with bright blue eyeshadow.,and a bright pop of orange colour on my lips.
